Morning service at 10:30. Movies have been with us for a little more than a century now. During that time they have inspired, entertained and informed us, covering just about every subject from spirituality to pornography. There will be a fairly brief review of the history and evolution of cinema followed by a discussion of some of our thoughts on films we like and dislike. After services join us for Brown Bag Socrates Cafe at 12:15 and Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30. |
 2/27 – What Gives Us Comfort – Glenna Jones-Kachtik
Service at 10:30. Wear something comfortable to church. If you are happier without shoes, leave them in the foyer. Come join us as we celebrate the things that give us comfort. Bring a song, story, poem, stuffed animal or food that makes you feel better when you are blue or down. After services join us for Yoga with Kitty Bevis at 1:30 and Men's Group at 6:30. Board meeting at 9:00. Service at 10:30. Today we will take a look at the office of the US presidency and give particular attention to one of our greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln.
