Nosotros, las congregaciones miembros de la Asociación UU, convenimos en afirmar y formentar el valor y la dignidad propria de cada persona.

Bread Communion

We'll be having our traditional pre-Thanksgiving bread communion on Sunday, November 24. We ask any members so inspired to bring bread, home-baked or otherwise, to share with other members. And we ask you to be ready to share the "story" of the bread-its origins, memories it inspires, baking tips, etc. We've found this to be a great "kick-off" for a week that emphasizes both food and fellowship.

Member Services Committee Meeting

The "greater" Member Services committee will meet on Sunday, November 17, immediately after church. Any interested CUUC members are invited to attend.

Soup Lunches

CUUC has a monthly soup lunch program. This lunch serves mainly to bring us together. It also provides a little sustenance, and it helps keep the church afloat financially. So, we urge everyone at church to socialize, eat, and put some cash in the basket. Only the first two activities are mandatory. If you're a visitor here, if you've forgotten your wallet, or if you're running on empty today, forget about the cash; just stick around to talk and eat. If you can afford it, the basket would really appreciate getting $3.50 per grownup and $1.50 per kid. Of course, if you're flush, feel free to put in more; you'll get your money's worth.

A soup lunch is scheduled generally for one of the first couple of Sundays of each month and a sign-up sheet is placed on the bulletin board next to the main entrance to the church. The Program Committee will host the soup lunch on December 8. Other dates are opened at this time.
