UU Housing Assistance Corporation is committed to enriching the lives and neighborhoods of lower and moderate-income families through housing preservation, rehabilitation, new construction, and educational programs. UUHAC helps families who have diverse needs and limited financial capabilities reside in decent homes and thrive in improved neighborhoods.

UUHAC is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that assists homeowners with home repair primarily in older neighborhoods just north and east of downtown. UUHAC can also qualify families for homeownership anywhere in Bexar County. Its financial and housing counseling classes are open to all.

Financial Partners include Broadway National Bank/ City of San Antonio’s US HUD HOME program/Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas/ Guaranty Bank/ PMI Group, Inc./ Jefferson State Bank/ Washington Mutual/ Wells Fargo Bank. AT&T Foundation, Alcoa Foundation and Boeing Company Foundation have provided grants to upgrade management software.

We welcome your involvement as a member. Dues are $25 per year. As a volunteer, you could provide your expertise in several areas, make presentations to groups about UUHAC, and assist the executive director with office duties. At that time, the board and staff will let you know about its current and proposed activities and welcome your input.
